The outside of this beautiful work of art measures about 4 1/2" inches by 5 1/4" inches by 3/4" inch thick on the outside, the magnetic surfaces inside are about 3 1/2" by 4".
Note that this is a practical and useful piece, but it is art and will not tolerate a lot of dampness or rough handling. It is also not completely airtight.
