I wanted to make something really different and special, and while I'm at it, I thought I'd make something that used less plastic, too. As a medically vulnerable person who can not vaccinate, I've struggled with how to deal with isolation. Luckily, once a week, I get to go to my kung fu class - where my teacher enforces mask wearing. It's at his home, in a terraced backyard garden and huge covered porch area. There are fountains, butterflies, birds, flowers, trees, bamboo, and countless colorful leaves and grasses. Every week it recharges me & gives me life. I wanted to share that feeling with you - this feeling of a magical, safe place where you are cherished and protected.
All of the 26 diamond formula mica colors in this collection are shaped into leaves, flowers, bees, and butterflies, so that there are no plastic pans to throw into a landfill OR offered in 2.5ml ceramic pots.
