The loa or goddess Maman Brigitte is one of the powerful spirits of Hatian Voodoo and other religions. She is usually depicted as a beautiful and pale lady dressed in bright robes and is a healer and protector of women and a psychopomp who takes her worshippers to the afterlife. We partnered with our friend at Magical Crafting to highlight Maman Brigitte for the month of November.

This listing includes both the tin and the nine pans of watercolors; the colors are:

Rainbow Opal, Blue Flash, SP: Blue, Purple, Orange, and Red, Rose Red, Hellebore, Deep End, Wraith, Asphalt, and Lilac Surprise

The finest holographic specular and mica pigments and glitter in small batch watercolors, made with all organic binders. I use the best essential clove oil as a preservative and highest grade gum arabic powder available.

To use: pre-soak the pan with several drops of water for five minutes prior to use. Do not dip your brush back and forth in the water cup as this will rinse the binders away. Use the water that has presoaked in the pan until it has gone, then repeat the soaking for five minutes before using again. Diluting the binders too much will keep the particles from adhering to the paper after drying.
